A GAGGIO Montano, on the initiative of the Department of Productive Activities of the City, open day in the most representative companies in the area. The doors will be opened for the entire population at 9 am today, for collective visits to companies operating in the engineering sector. These are the companies SilMac Srl of the Silla hamlet, 3-T Srl of the chief town and F.lli Cinotti srl of the chief town. SilMac, where the visits start, was founded in 1971 by Orlando Masini, is mainly involved in the construction and assembly of automatic machines and has about forty employees, in addition to those working at the plants in San Pietro in Casale and Ozzano dell’Emilia. THIRTY people work in 3-T, which produces mechanical parts, generally out of series; in recent times, together with Sil.Mac, it has become part of the important Ima Group, the family jewel of Alberto Vacchi, president of Assindustria in Bologna, who has decided to invest in the Apennines, promoting the development of employment in the area. The Cinotti workshop was founded in 1961 in the Porretta area and in August 2014 moved to the Gaggese town of Panigali, with thirty workers and employees, producing transmission shafts for earthmoving and agricultural machinery, serving the main Italian and foreign tractor manufacturers. Today’s open days follow those that involved the factories of bottonificio Lenzi, Caffitaly, caseificio Fiordilatte, Comur, Far, Filatura Papi Fabio, nuovo salumificio Vitali, Palmieri Group and Piquadro. “Once again – says the municipal councillor Alessandro Guidotti – we will have the opportunity to discover concretely how some of our businesses are structured, organized and managed”. The mayor of Gaggio Montano Maria Elisabetta Tanari adds: “In everyone there is a great pride to show to the citizenship an interesting productive network. The Municipality, as much as possible, will always try to favor the birth of companies able to ensure jobs”.
